Many people can’t seem to find the right food formula to feel both nourished and satisfied with food and connected to their bodies. My personal and professional experience has taught me that food doesn’t need to be complicated. It can be simple and effortless.

Throughout my training to be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I’ve learned that dieting and feeling at war with food and body does not lead to positive health outcomes. This is why my approach to health and nutrition is rooted in Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating philosophies. I know that you don’t have to sacrifice the joy of eating delicious food in order to support your health, and you can do it in the body that you have right now.

This work can include healing a lifetime’s worth of shame and guilt around food and body. I try to provide a beacon of light so you don’t have to embark on this journey alone. I recognize that each person has an innate sense of wisdom about food and body, and my role is to help them better connect to that wisdom. Struggles with Intuitive Eating are deeply connected to body shame. In alongside to gentle nutrition guidance, I provide body image coaching to alleviate body image concerns and increase awareness of your body’s cues and signals around food.

My nutrition counseling style is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and gentleness as I try to meet people where they are. I provide a space to discuss food without fear of being judged. As someone navigating life in a larger body, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to trust your body when the world tells you to do otherwise.

I recognize that social inequalities influence how we relate to food, which is why I’m committed to providing affirming care for all bodies. I strive to offer support to people of all sizes, races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, immigration statuses, and disability statuses.

I provide nutrition counseling both virtually and in-person at my office in New York City. Contact me to learn more about working together.
